Who we are

Telapp (telapp.me) provides AI voice receptionists that answer calls for businesses and pass the caller's details to them as leads.

Telapp is owned and operated by Telexo LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. The Telapp software is licensed in the United Kingdom to Darden Trading, which operates the telapp.me service for UK businesses and their customers.

References to "Telapp", "we", "us" and "our" mean Telexo LLC and its UK licensee, Darden Trading, as appropriate to the context.

Using Telapp as a business

You sign up with your mobile number and are responsible for the details you give us, including your website and business information used by your receptionist.

Plans, top-ups and one-off receptionist set-ups are paid through Stripe. Monthly plans renew until cancelled from your account.

Leads captured by your receptionist are shown in your Telapp account. All lead records are stored in the Telapp database and remain part of the Telapp service.

What we collect from callers

When you call a business through Telapp we record what you tell the receptionist: your name, phone number, email if given, what you are looking for (the product or service type and your enquiry), and your town and postcode.

We also keep a written transcript and summary of the call. We do not keep a voice recording.

How caller details are used

Your details are passed to the business you called so they can contact you about your enquiry.

Telapp keeps every lead in its own database, indexed by product type, town and postcode, to run and improve the service.

Sharing with other trusted companies

On some calls the receptionist asks: "Can we pass your details to other trusted companies who can help if we are unable to?"

Only if you clearly say yes do we mark your details as available to share with other carefully chosen companies that offer the same kind of product or service in your area. If you say no, or are not asked, your details are never shared or sold to anyone other than the business you called.

You can withdraw this permission at any time by contacting us, and we will stop sharing your details.

Text messages (SMS)

Telapp sends text messages only to people who give us their mobile number and agree to receive them, for example when signing up, verifying a mobile, booking with a Telapp business or opting in to updates from Telapp.

Messages may include sign-in and verification codes, new-lead and booking alerts, booking and event updates, account notices and, where you have opted in, news and offers from Telapp.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also contact us at contact@telapp.me.

Mobile numbers, text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with, sold or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The lead-sharing option described above never includes text-messaging consent.

We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf, such as our SMS and email platforms, and only for that purpose.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, to correct them, or to delete them. Contact us through telapp.me and we will respond within one month, as required by UK data protection law.

Telapp Legal referrals

Telapp Legal is a referral platform, not a law firm. Participating firms supply their own registration, practice areas and coverage; Telapp does not independently verify their registration. Check the relevant regulator's register before instructing a firm.

When you choose a firm, you confirm your mobile by text code and create a private client account. We store your name, verified mobile, optional email, legal area, location, short account and any urgent date so you and your chosen firm can follow the enquiry.

Your explicit permission is recorded before these details are shared with that one firm. Legal referrals are not sold or shared with other firms under the general lead-sharing option above. Choosing another firm requires a separate enquiry and permission.

The firm receives an enquiry, not an accepted case. It must check conflicts and agree whether it can act, engagement terms and fees directly with you. A willingness to discuss your enquiry is not an agreement to represent you. Lisa does not give legal advice.

Client accounts show referral status and the firm's response only. They do not expose the firm's private case documents, research or internal notes. Contact Telapp to request correction, deletion or withdrawal of referral-sharing permission; the firm may retain records required by its own professional obligations.

Keeping data safe

Lead records are stored securely and only the business you called and Telapp administrators can see them.
